Well it wouldn't be Coronation Street without angst, would it? The Sun today has a long interview with Kym Ryder (Michelle Connor). Much of it covers things we already know about her past life as a teenage mother, a winning contestant in Popstars and her marriage to former Eastender Jack Ryder (aren't they a gorgeous couple?). She also talks about the panic attacks that she suffers from. “You’ll never understand them. You have to overcome them," she says. She insists that the panic attacks aren't because she pushes herself too hard. "I’m the happiest I’ve ever been and I still sometimes get them,” she says.
The actress, who has been nominated for a Best Newcomer award at the National Television Awards, is still loving her role as Michelle. She says, "This past year for me has just been great. And Michelle is heading for a major, major storyline. It’s going to be more family based, not about Michelle and Steve McDonald. There’s going to be a lot of angst." That's what we like to hear.

I remember him from EE. He was rubbish. That was a few years ago now, though, so maybe he's improved.
I am trying to have an interest in her (on Corrie), but no, it just isn't working! Not working at all.
I know what you mean Brenda. I remember when she was one of the contestants on Popstars and, out of the girls, I was hoping and praying that Kym wouldn't be chosen as one of the final members of the group because she was the least likeable of any of the girls (I think they had about 6 to choose between). I didn't like her then and I don't like her now.
