More Samia Smith, please!

samia-smith-12070601.jpgAs well as being Corrie's biggest 'soap babe', Samia Smith is one of the best young actresses, don't you think? Having spent seven years in her role as kennelmaid-cum-hairdresser, Samia really proved her worth to me during the story surrounding Maria's affair with Charlie. I am particularly fond of Maria's rapport with Audrey; Samia and Sue Nicholls must have such a fantastic working relationship. I relished in the scene last week where the two talked about Carla Connor's split ends et al, Samia is so natural at all levels. I would actually prefer to see Maria involved in a more character-centred story as opposed to her trying to find another man. More, please! [Ben]

I agree. I think Corrie just take her for granted as a bit of crumpet.

I do agree that she's taken for granted a bit. I worry that Samia might want to 'try other projects' - yikes!

I really like her. All she seems to do nowadays is put a gown over an old lady in the salon. USE HER MORE CORRIE, PLEASE. And what a fab picture you posted of her Ben, it nearly turned me, lol.

I am tired of her being the street strumpet as well.
Surely the writers can find a better storyline for her!I loved when I got to see her fight with Tracy in the street over Charlie.

Not sure about seeing more of her. I can't think of a storyline for her that doesn't involve hair or dogs or hairy dogs.
