sept16_David_Doll.jpgOne hour episode update.
When Darryl Morton agrees to stash some ecstasy tablets for a pal, David Platt tries to play the 'cool kid' card and offers to hide them somewhere safe for him. Darryl insists that he knows the perfect place and attempts to bury them in the garden, only to be almost caught out by Jerry and have to quickly hand the pills over to David. As David wanders around the Platt house, chanting in a bone-chilling style, he decides to hide the tablets inside Bethany's doll.

Roy persists in his bizarrely rude behaviour as Christian arrives at the cafe to see Hayley. As the the pair discuss 'Harold', Roy impolitely interrupts and Christian leaves. Trying to apologise for Roy's attitude doesn't seem to work, and Christian tells an agitated Hayley that he knows all that he needs to and doesn't want to see her again. Back in the cafe Hayley firmly tells Roy that she needs support not principles and that life is about practice, not theory. Roy doesn't seem to be swayed, even by an uncomfortable chat with Becky.

In the Rovers Sally continues to bemoan Rosie's decision to work at Underworld, but is swayed by some enlightened advice from Mr Stape. The scenes between Sally, Betty and Kevin were a joy to watch.

Tyrone was likened to many a TV star tonight, including Columbo, someone from NYPD Blue and, of course, Barney Rubble. Paul 'liberates' the Duckworth's post, which arouses Tyrone's suspicions and sets him on the trail of Paul's deceit. Using his very best coconut cracking skills, Tyrone confronts Paul, only to be undercut by the admission that the letters were the guarantee for an electronic vibrating chair he had bought as a gift for Jack and Vera. In the back yard Paul ominously informs an angry Tyrone that since he is flesh and blood, he will always come first with Jack and Vera.

Carla woos Mr Gordon's Catalogue himself and gives him a tour of her assets, only concrete ones for the moment.

is it me or did Stig look like Eli from Emmerdale

Nice to see Sean taking things slowly for once. However I should point out that you don't become a sonographer by being a midwife, you need a radiography degree first.
