Bruce Jones, better known as former Coronation Street professional layabout Les Battersby, is reported by the Manchester Evening News to be making an appearance in some kind of advertisement. "I do not speak to reporters," he said to reporters, "but it is not Bisto."
A spokesperson from Bisto has apparently confirmed that the strawberry-blond actor is not the new face of gravy.
Jones was let go from the UK's favourite soap for making inappropriate comments about his co-workers.

Maybe its for Bernard Mathews "Turkey Ham" two words which describe Mr Jones "acting" skills. Or Wilkinson Sword, he seems very good at stabbing co workers in the back (Alledgedly!)

I can understand Granada "letting go" of Bruce Jones for bad-mouthing his co-workers, but the fact that he'd saying anything mean-spirited or nasty in the first place, is beyond me. Personally, I'll be glad when his character "Les" and "Cilla" are gone.
