There’s an interesting snippet in the Manchester Evening News about actor Dominic Holmes, who played Ken Barlow’s son, Daniel Osbourne. We saw Daniel recently when Ken stayed with Corrie crimper Denise after his fall out with Dreary. Anyway, the article says that Dominic hopes to return to Coronation Street with a second storyline in the autumn. In the meantime, he’s due to start filming for Heartbeat.
And Dominic, who is 13, is spearheading a campaign to encourage people to donate organs. It's a subject he feels passionate about as his mum suffers from kidney disease. You can read the full interview in the MEN here and find out more about the donor campaign here.
I sure hope that this character makes a alot of trouble for Ken and Dreary and her mum!!! He should shake them up!
Agree, Ken had to put up with the shennanigans of Dreary's daughter for long enough, let his son play her and Blanche up for a bit!
I was not impressed with the actor who played him to be honest. However, we never really saw much of him apart from him rivalling Brat Morton as most obnoxious kid.
I want to know if Denise is gonna be back?
