Two-timing Coronation Street weddings

Some couples on Coronation Street love getting married that they marry the same person more than once!! Sally and Kevin Webster rediscovered their relationship after Kevin succumbed to Nasty Natalie's advances while Sally was away nursing her ill mother. Sally ended that marriage with a very loud smack across Natalie's face. She tried a reconciliation for the sake of the girls but her subsequent affair with Greg Kelly had Kevin running for the hills. Our Sal has had more men than hot dinners including the lovely Danny Hargreaves, hunky mechanic Chris, Alex the decorator and slimy Ian Davenport. Whether it's love or loyalty or security, Sally and Kevin are back together and working on getting their teenage girls through puberty.

Ken and Deirdre married each other twice. Ken's affair with Wendy and his jealousy over Deirdre's job as local councillor crumbled the cookie there. They were apart for quite a few years, during which time both of them had major relationships and Deirdre even did time in the nick as a result of one of hers. Eventually though, they made their way back to each other and lived together for a number of years before Deirdre finally walked down the aisle, or... climbed the registry office stairs, once again. Sadly, they've hit what appears to be (hopefully) a temporary separation currently but honestly, what else are they going to do with them? I'm sure they'll patch things up!

One of the earlier two-timer wedding couples was Brian and Gail Tilsley. They married, starry eyed and in love, in 1979 but soon crashed down to earth in the early years of their life together. They managed to keep it together for the sake of their little boy, Nicky, but resentments on both sides and Gail's affair with Brian's cousin sealed the first divorce but they got back together and remarried in 1988, mainly for the sake of the children, including new baby Sarah Louise. It was heading for divorce a year later when Brian was killed.

Liz and Jim MacDonald married twice and so did Steve and Karen and neither one of them managed to find wedding bliss. Seems like love is not always lovelier the second time around for Coronation Street lovers!
