Another in our series looking at the youngsters who have grown up on Coronation Street, this week we have a gander at Jack P. Shepherd. Jack has played the part of David Platt since 2000, when he was about 12 years old. He is now 19 and enjoying the turn in the character of David from rascally little boy to a teen with a major attitude. I think the death of Barney the rabbit was the turning point! ;) There's a pretty good interview with him on the ITV site here. Allegedly, Jack is starting to get into a bit of mischief off screen. Maybe that's why he might be on Santa's "naughty" list?

Jack P Shepard is one fine child actor and I am glad TPTB gave him storylines with some meat in them even though it has turned David into a bad dude. I hope they let him develop some redeeming characteristics to keep him on the show longer.
david is amazing he makes the soap i love him he is just great i would love to be like him acting david is the most talented person in the soap ad he is so fit !!!!!
