Once again we take a look at another younger cast member who has been on Coronation Street since he was a lad of just 16. He's Alan Halsall who plays Tyrone Dobbs and he's now 25 years old. Tyrone is the son of Jackie Dobbs whom we met when she was Deirdre's cellmate. After Jackie was released, she looked up Deirdre and moved her and her then-odious son Tyrone into Deirdre's flat. It was Tyrone's idea to break into Curly's empty house and soon Jackie and Ty were squatting there. Jackie and her estranged husband reconciled and left. Curly got his house back but ended up with Tyrone as a lodger when he took pity on the lad who was sleeping in the rubbish skip behind Freshco's. Tyrone soon moved in to the B&B which the Duckworths were running and got a job as an apprentice mechanic with Kevin and the rest is history!
Click through to read a bit more about Alan
Alan started on Coronation street in November 1998. He is a few months older than his character, both born in 1982, making Alan just a little over 16 when he first appeared on our screens. He had done some television work prior to the Street including a stint on Children's Ward where he knew Samia Ghadie (Smith) who would later play his fiancee, Maria Sutherland! Alan was a bit of a baby-faced teen, and although he hasn't changed a great deal, he certainly is a nice looking, rugged young man. Shobna Gulati, who played Sunita Alahan, told a group of fans in Halifax, NS that she thinks Alan has really lovely eyes! And he does! His current girlfriend is Lucy Jo Hudson, who played Katy Harris, and according to IMDB, they are engaged. Don't they make a lovely couple?

We've also had a look at how the following young actors have changed: Helen Flanagan (Rosie Webster), Richard Fleeshman (Craig Harris) and Jack P. Shepherd (David Platt). If there's anyone you'd like to see featured, please drop a line?

I love these posts tvor!
I'm going to run out though. Most of them haven't grown up on the show, it only works really well if they've been on since childhood!
