Not having seen either of them yet on my Canadian screen, i would say i'd go for the older Paul.

Oh, dear. I really like Paul, but Liam's starting to actually seem attractive to me in his scenes with Leanne. I'm greedy--can I have both?
Paul he is gorgeous and exciting as well as very sexy. Liam is a looker but not my type.(too young and compared to Paul boring) Paul has a fantastic mixed personality, very playful, cheeky and a wicked temper. I love his angry look and oh those blue eyes they really go blue when he's in one! I just love Paul/Carla as husband wife and Paul/Liam with the brotherly stuff and he is lovley with sister Michelle and Nephew Ryan.
A great character whom I am going to miss greatly. Plus Paul reminds me of Mike espec with that lovely cheeky sexy smile of his.
I do wish they would use a better piccy of Paul on the web though that one does him no justice whatsoever he is much sexier and hotter looking than that. I love those blue eyes with that jet black hair.

That's why I love Paul so much you never know what is going to happen with him and for me he provides all the grit and drama in the Connor family, so once he leaves things could be a bit flat (apart from all the romance).
I think Paul using an escort agency is very much in character with Paul. He does love and adore Carla but likes taking risks. Paul is also very demanding in the bedroom department.
Paul will definitely be greatly missed
