So here we are. D-Day is upon us (or is that T-Day?) Tonight we Coronation Street viewers find out whether Tracy Barlow will be found guilty or not guilty for the murder of Charlie Stubbs. Either way, she could easily rot for 20 years in the scriptwriters' cupboard. Corrieblog has followed the stories of some other Weatherfield women who have got on the wrong side of the law, such as Deirdre Barlow, Rita Sullivan and even Ena Sharples, but today's candidate is the only one who is actually guilty of her crime. The question remains: Will Tracy Barlow be found guilty or not guilty? What do you think...? [Elsie Tanner]

Well, I was hoping that she'd get found not guilty and then the Barlows banish her from the street and keep Amy with them, but with the way Deirdre and Tracy are behaving I doubt that will happen, so now I hope she gets found guilty, because I think Amy should stay.
Thankfully I am working early shift today so I will be rushing home at 8pm UK time and calling my Mom to find out whether Tracy is guilty or not. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she is found guilty. I cannot stand her. Here in the US we are just seeing Craig and Keith being kicked out of #6 and Tracy gloating. Grrrrr.
Pretty sure she will be found guilty - but she ought to get away with it!
Been looking at the ITV updates and judging from the way the evidence and testimony has been going, it seems Tracy's defence case isn't very strong. She killed Charlie in cold blood, it wasn't the heat of the moment thing. I can't see that morally they could let her off with it. Last night's show had Tracy insisting that if she got off, she'd leave forever. The spoilers say in the aftermath that Deirdre has major bridge building to do with her daughter. I don't think if Tracy was leaving town, she'd bend at all to her mother. She's a hard callous cow and would be even worse if she got away with murder. Therefore, i think she's going to be found guilty
Hmm, tricky one. It seems like the only time it worked for her was the first day of the trial, when they found out that Charlie had drowned David. Other then that it seems like the trial isn't going well, so I reckon she's going to be found guilty.
I hope Tracy will be found guilty, because this storyline might end quicker.Though I hate scenes where everyone is crying or sad,why can't the people of coronation street be happy for once?
I'm in Canada so we aren't there yet but whenever Charlie comes on I can hardly wait for Tracy to wack him. I hope she gets off. She's terrible but he's worse. If she didn't kill him I would have wanted a crack at it :P
i dont mind either way. part of me wants her to be found guilty, part of me wants her to be found innocent. but i reckon she'll be found guilty.
Good point Tvor, her being found guilty may be the only thing that causes Tracey to build bridges with Deirdry. However, the previews have that talk scheduled for Sunday which makes me think that Tracey will go free and book a plane to Spain.
This is a hard one to call.
Bruce Jones already let the cat out of the bag weeks ago during his drunken binge in a pub.
SHE HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY, WOO!
I was hoping that she would be found not guilty. Was surprised to hear the verdict of guilty.
Here in Canada, we're at the "eviction at No. 6" stage. Nonetheless, the actor who plays Charlie really does get on everyone's nerves, especially when he has that smug look on his face. No one cares for Charlie after what he did to Bev, Liz, Shelly, and now Keith and Craig. So, at least now that we know Charlie's taking a dirt nap, I say Tracy should be found guilty because we don't like her either! One is as bad as the other, and they should both disappear. What would be a really good story line would be Tracy going to prison and finding Angela Harris on her cell block..."Bad Girls - Manchester" and trying to explain that she had nothing to do with the eviction, upsetting Keith, blah, blah, blah and Angela rearranging her face in the showers!
Elizabeth, I love your thinking.
Hopefully we will never see anyone visiting Tracy in jail because I cannot stand the sight of her.
She was always self centred, but had become a street fighting horror over the last couple of years.
With regard to Deirdre, I am still stunned that she keeps blaming herself - just like Gail blames herself for the dastardly things that David has done. Maybe he will end up in Borstal.
As soon as Claire announced she had "a good feeling" about it, I just KNEW Tracy was going to be be found guilty!
I love this blog. Watch Corrie on canadian tv. live in US.
