Blanche moves out for a couple of weeks as Deirdre and Ken come to terms with life without Tracy and the fact they’re annoying each other. She’s moved to a mate’s place in Ilkeston and who can blame her. Even Peter’s moving back to Portsmouth and trying to persuade Adam to join him. Deirdre and Ken get to visit Tracy in prison where she lays it on thick and begs for more cash to pay a top barrister. When Ken doesn’t budge, she pleads with him and says it’s for Amy’s benefit, not hers. But Ken’s heart is hardened and he won’t give Tracy any more.
Bill decides he wants to buy Charlie’s builder’s yard and asks Kev to go into partnership with him. When Sally finds out she drags Kev out of the pub and away from bad-influence Bill and his beer. Audrey offers to put the money up for him instead.
And Janice gets threatened with the sack (again!) when she comes clean to Mr Connor that it was her who called the cops over the illegal immigrants. She’s rightly feeling bad for the mess that she’s caused now that Joanne’s been arrested.

For God's sake Deirdre, get over it.
Your whining and crying is getting me down big time. It must have been easy to learn your lines for the past few episodes. All you have cried is "she is my daughter, I should have done more". Yes, you should have done more, you should have given her a good telling off and told her you would not help her get away with murder.
You should be lucky that Ken has finally stood up to that over-indulged piece of work.
By the way, the wail of "she is my daughter, I should protect her" only works for children. Tracy is, by far, the most selfish offspring ever to (dis)grace the hallowed cobbles of Coronation Street.
