Is Eileen Grimshaw the Street’s best mum?

She’s mum to Jason and Todd and gives house room to Sean and Violet. She's now also grandma to baby Holly. She works hard at Streetcars and puts food on the table to feed her growing clan. Is it any wonder Ma Grimshaw gets a bit grim from time to time? I vote for Eileen Grimshaw as Coronation Street’s best mum and hope that her house full of young ‘uns make a fuss of her this coming Mothering Sunday.

I really like Eileen too. She helps others but I just wish that she'd make good decisions when it comes to romance!

Eileen is one of my favourite characters and without a doubt she looks after her family well but how can she afford to keep and feed all these people in a 2 bedroom house? I really hope the writers will allow her to have a successful relationship with a good bloke.
