Disaster for the Duckworths

There’s going to be a few ruffled feathers in the Duckworth household, says The Daily Star, when Vera falls down the stairs and does herself a mischief. Vera trips and falls over a stack of Jack’s pigeon magazines that he’s put there out of the way when Vera insists he cleans up the house. When Vera has to lie down with her sprained foot for a few days, it’s left to Jack to run around after his little swamp duck and she’s got him at her beck and call.

So, if Jack is still reading pigeon mags, where have his pigeons gone? Wasn’t Frankie looking after them in her backyard for Jack?  Have they all gone and died from bird flu?
