Wahey! It's Wednesday and time for another Yay or Nay. Last week's Yay or Nay was mostly a Yay to our question of whether Soapstars can be Superstars. Let's all hope the Coronation Street soapstars can end up doing as well as singing superstar Adam Rickett, eh?
And on to this week, Since Carla Connor joined the cobbles she’s managed to upset just about everyone. She put Sally’s nose out of joint when she first turned up at the Underworld Christmas party when she gave Sally the car keys and ordered her out to get some booze. She’s upset the factory girls by favouring Kelly to stitch up her range of kids clothes on the side, and she’s managing to cause friction between brothers Liam (Rob James Collier) and Paul (Sean Gallagher) in the office at work. So, as she doesn’t seem to have made any friends on Coronation Street, I’m wondering if she’s made any fans? Does anyone out there like Carla Connor yet?

No I don't like her, she's too well known from other shows like Footballers Wives. Every time I see her I think of her as Pandora from the soap ads!
Yay, I like the way she's so upfront and went to Michelle's house without an invite. I also thought it was funny when she moved her desk into Liam's office.
She's awful.
I think she's great. She's got a lot of attitude and ambition and she intimidates the pants off everyone. There's a lot of potential there, I think.
Like I said on the DS boards, I'm not so sure about her chemistry with Paul, but she as a standalone character is great (as is he as a standalone).
I can't wait to see her in future storylines.

I like her but think the script writers aren't giving her much to do. I think she has potential to be a classic soap bitch but they're just not giving her the chance!! They seem to waste a lot of their characters - what's the point?!
She's starting to warm up nicely. Alison King wasn't in Footballer's Wives, she was in Dream Team and she was excellent in that. She has been in Corrie before, when she played Mrs. Fanshaw who tried to seduce Jason and she was apparently in it back in 1982 as well. Best looking female in the Street.
Carla is amzing, the best character to ever be in coronation street. Alison King who plays her is amazing too. !
