Actress Wanda Opalinska is joining Coronation Street as Polish immigrant Vicki, who gets a knicker-stitching job at Underworld. The Mirror reports the story with a race row slant which has since been corrected by the Corrie office over at Digital Spy.
Wanda has started filming on the cobbles and her first on-screen appearance will be on Monday, February 26.

This will be a really interesting storyline. This has massive potential and i am glad Corrie are keeping up to speed with some stories reflecting modern city life.
