With Bill Webster back and Maureen Elliot and Reg Holdsworth looking likely to return to Corrie, which other old-timer from years gone by would you love to see return to the cobbles? For me, I’d love to see Eddie Yeats back on the Street. Geoffrey Hughes who played Eddie is still acting and turned up as Twiggy in the Royle Family last week. Or even Gary Mallett with the twins. Or Curly.

Eddie Yates for me. Such a character in his day, and seeing him in the Royle Family last week just reminded me how good his character was! Just imagine him on the street palling up with Les, Tyrone and Kirk and selling dodgy gear!

I know about Cheryl Murray's MS. There were rumours a few years ago that she'd got a small part in Emmerdale but I think the MS got the better of her. It's a real shame.
