If you’re reading Corrieblog and are able to watch Coronation Street outside of the UK, we’re wondering where in the world are you watching it from? And is the storyline current with the one we’re watching in the UK or are you behind us – and if so, by how many weeks or months? I know Corrie is huge in Canada and has a lot of fans in New Zealand which even has a Corrie look-a-like Government Minister! and Australia too but wherever you are in the world, do let us know here on Corrieblog where you’re watching from.

I live in Canada, and currently, Sarah and Jason are just hooking up. Tracey just slept with Charlie for the first time. I hate that we're so far behind the shows in the UK.
I'm watching from Canada, where we're about nine months behind (I think?) on CBC. But I download the UK episodes and watch them regularly because reading spoilers just isn't enough! I still watch the CBC episodes with my mom because they're still entertaining the second time around.
I watch on the CBC but live in Bellingham, Washington, USA.
Love your blog!
I live just north of Detroit, Michigan USA. I watch "The Street" on CBC Windsor, Ontario.
I watch in the Netherlands - but by video cassette! Each episode is recorded by my parents who still live in the UK and posted to me as soon as the tape is full. My husband and I then sometimes watch hours at a time. I have been watching for at least the last thirty years and my husband, who is Dutch, was almost immediately converted to the Corrie faith after we met. Still can't resist the temptation to find out what is going on at the moment via the blog or itv.com!
I watch CBC and live near Ypsilanti, Michigan, USA.
I'm watching from Ontario Canada and have been watching for 30 years. The day is not complete if I miss an episode. This website catches me up and puts me ahead of the game. Keep up the great work.
I watch from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I used to watch in Edmonton,Alberta with my dad before I moved. Now we watch it together on the phone!!
I watch from Calgary, Alberta, Canada as well (Hi Sarah, fellow Calgarian!) My parents are English, so I grew up watching it on CBC Calgary
I download the episodes each week and watch. I am current with the asinine Charlie Stubb's Peeping Tom extravaganza
Hi, I'm watching from Newfoundland, Canada. I'm watching episodes from early December, 2005. I never miss a show and I love this website!!!
Thank you all for your LOVELY comments on the blog. It's really interesting to hear from Corrie fans overseas, thanks again!
Flaming Nora
I live in Flint, Michigan, which is about an hour North of Detroit. I watch on CBC through cable and tape it for a friend in the suburbs whose cable company doesn't show it.
I watch Corrie on CBC in Vancouver. We're about 9 months behind and are at the point where Violet finds out about Sarah and Jason and Tracy and Charlie are just about to hook up.
I've been watching it regularly for the past 5 years. My mother, on the other hand, has been watching for the last 30 years or so, so I'm very familiar with some of the previous actors. It funny that my mom has been watching for so long, when it's actually my dad that was born and raised in England.
I started watching Corrie regularly when my roommate came back from living in England for a year. She got hooked, and then came home to re-introduce it to me.
I am between Cannock and Wolverhampton, West Midlands, UK.
I watch Corrie on CBC from St Agathe des Monts, Quebec, Canada in FRENCH(just jokin':) can't beat that Lancashire accent. Have been an avid fan for the last 35 years, makes me feel like home. I was born in Bolton (now Greater Manchester) nothing beats Corrie on the telly. Corrie Blog keeps us up to date on what is going on in England even though we are months behind :(!!
Terribly sorry, but Jim Sutton retired from government earlier this year and is not now in public life in New Zealand.
I am in Lapeer, Michigan (HI JANET in Flint). I get Corrie from CBC in Windsor, Canada. My husband never watched Corrie, he liked....East Enders. Sorry for the use of bad language! 8-)) Anyway he has come over from the dark side and I have him hooked on Corrie. Of course, I keep up with the UK episodes on ITV and my Mom sends newspaper clippings from the UK. Love Corrie.
I'm another Canadian. I'm 29 (for the first time) and have been watching Corrie all my life. I think we got into watching it on CBC on Sunday mornings when they show all the episodes from the week back to back because there wasn't anything else on! Of course I'm hooked now though ;)
I'm in a smallish town in Des Moines, Iowa in land of (sadly) George "idiot" Bush. I watch my Corrie current with UK, as I download them off a UK television torrent site. Love Corrie, I say. It's the best. The Best, I said! Also am a huge Fred Elliot, Norris Cole fan.
I live in Alberta, Canada and I LOVE Corrie. We are about 9 months behind the UK which is a majoy pet peeve of mine. CBC is just totally to blame. But I keep up on what is happening by keeping up with the UK updates. Not as good as watching it with you but will have to do till CBC smartens up and relises that Corrie is the best show they got.
Is it watchable in Portugal - does anyone know?
I´m watching it in Spain at the moment.
I keep my eye on the cobbles from Ottawa, Canada on my local CBC station...and I snoop regularly on this site, which brings me great joy or immense sadness, depending on the news story!
I watch "Coronation Street" on UK TV.in Australia and Katie has just told Martin that she is pregnant
Watching from Newfoundland, Canada as well-so far behind here but I "cheat" on-line all the time to get the up-to-the-minute news.
I got hooked on Corrie when I lived in Vermont and watched it on CBC Montreal. Moved to New Hampshire and now I'm starved for my soap. I'm a total noob with Bit Torrent and after Googling for an hour, only found one site with Corrie, and it isn't currently accepting new members. If anyone could post or email a link to a site where I could download (?) it, you'd make me a very happy girl. Thanks!
Corrie has a huge following in New Zealand but unfortunately we are 11 months behind the UK !! We get a 2 hour episode on Tuesday nights and a 1 hour episode on Thursday nights so I guess we're never going to catch up!! There was a stage several years ago that we were only three weeks behind. Never mind, the weekly updates from Glenda are good to read and the storylines still have an element of surprise when we finally get them as so much has gone on in the meantime.
I am near Ann Arbor MI (HELLO MICHIGANDERS!) and I watch it at 7 pm every night via DVR. I have been watching for 10 years. I got hooked from my ex-bf who was from Wales originally. That was the only good thing I got from him was my love for Corrie!
I started watching Corrie in 1989 in Vancouver. In 2003, I drove across the country (four time zones) & am now watching Corrie from rural Nova Scotia.

I watch "corrie" from Queensland Australia.
I'm in guelph Ontario (about an hour outside of toronto) and like most of the other canadians, we are about 9-10 mos behind. I started watching with my dad (who was born in derby) around the time that Alma was dying and have been watching ever since. I also want to know where I can get episodes online, as it's very frustrating reading glenda and the one-liners in hello magazine...
I watch the Street, from Australia. It is the end of January 2005 over here.
I watch Corrie on a CBC cable feed in Maple Valley WA which is 20 miles southeast of Seattle. Love it.
I've been watching Coronation Street since around 1980. Love this quote about Corrie .... "There was life before Coronation Street but it wasn't very good!"
Toronto, Ontario, Canada..........

Can anyone let me know where I can download the latest episodes from as I'm in Australia and we don't get it here!! Thanks
I've been downloading Corrie from www.uknova.com as I just moved to Connecticut from Australia (where I watched it on UK TV on pay TV) and my days just weren't right without a fix of Corrie!
I'm an avid watcher while in Renfrew, Ontario, Canada visiting my parents but I live in the Boston, Massachusetts area and can't get Corrie St. Any advice on how to pick it up in New England via a cable service or internet? I sure do miss it!!! Sara
Hello Everyone.
Just to let you know, if you are familiar with usenet, there is a newsgroup called alt.binaries.british.drama, and there is a poster called Mary who very kindly uploads each week's episodes a few days later.
I would recommend a usenet provider called giganews.com, as they have retention going back 90 days, so if you sign up you should be able to download quite a few of the previous weeks episodes.

Hi, Im in Buffalo, NY I watch Coronation Street with my grandmother on the Canadian Station CBC. Doc Ramston just cam back for joshua and ashley is ticked off... We are going to be moving soon and getting a Dish (we have cable now) but the dish doesn't offer cbc. I seen a few posts mentioning they download Coronation street (the current UK episodes) I wanted to know where do you download them, How far back do the episodes go, and is it expensive? We will be lost without cornation street.
Please help.

Hi!
I'm in Cookstown, ON and I watch Corrie every night (and sometimes on the weekends too) on stupid Corrie-preempting CBC...I'm lucky to have a government job, so whenever I talk to someone at the CBC, I'm sure to voice my displeasure :0) I get my fix by checking out this site, as well as the Corrie homepage...I've even got my Mom addicted to this site!! I can't wait for the Tracy murder storyline to get here! Keep up the excellent work!
I'm in Endako, BC, Canada. Just moved here from Burnaby, BC, where Corrie was on cable. Now I get it on satellite. Have been watching since 1982. Am also looking for a site to download from for those episodes lost due to satellite dish down. Mike Baldwin has just died (very sad...) and now I've missed the discovery of wills and his funeral.
Hey there Corrie Fans!
Well, I guess you could say that I have a complete addiction to Coronation Street......I have to have my daily fix of this story, if not, my day (in Newfoundland it is seen in the evening) is just not the same.....Okay, so I am male, in the 21-35 age group, married with children, so what does that make me?...when a person thinks of Soap operas one cannot help but think of the crapola that is seen on tv these days.....thank God that Coronation Street is seen in the evenings here, because if not, I would have to trade places with the mrs and stay at home while she worked! LOL.......(just kidding!)......
There are several places on the internet where you can download Corrie.
http://bristhsoaponline.com is one , they charge a small fee which they call a 'donation' but you have to donate 'regular' otherwise you are booted .
I'm in Winnipeg,Manitoba,Canada where I am proud to admit that both my husband and I are Corrie addicts!
He blames me for getting him hooked, buthe still can't wait to watch it!!
I live in the Lower Mainland area of BC, and have been a die hard Corrie fan since Sarah and Todd were supposed to get married. Sometimes I miss episodes and would love to download them, but I can't find anywhere to get them.
Please let me know where I can find them and download them!!!
Also, don't feel bad Newfieguy, I arrange my day so I can be home for it too! It airs 7:00pm Pacific
I live in Canada and have tried to download corrie from the alt.binaries.british.drama website (poster Mary). My computer says it doesn`t know what to open the file with and sent me to some website to find it, which i dont understand! PLease could you let me know what you open yours with? Thankyou
Hi I watch from Melbourne Australia. I grew up in the UK and we moved back to New Zealand in 1987. However I moved to Melbourne we don't have paid t.v. (anyway it's years behind on paid t.v) so my mum kindly tapes me every eposide and when she has filled up three tapes she posts them over to me. I then can watch hours of it at a time.
Thanks to you all who have advised when to download. Could be cheaper that way.
Like Rebecca, I too am in search of a compatible source that can be used to view these files of Mary's.
Canada is so far behind it's rediculous. I could have sworn we were about 8 mths behind, now it's June and the World Cup hasn't even begun in our corrie time.
how can we see episodes in singapore? is it possible to download them on the internet???
I'm in Canada and we're about 9 months behind - right now we're at point where Claire has been hospitalized. CBC seemed to want to catch up a while back and began showing 2 back-to-back episodes each night but that didn't last! I've been watching regularly since 2000 - around the time Tyrone and Maria first met and Jez Quigley was terrorizing Steve. The W network used to show older episodes dating back to the early 1990's, and I used to occasionally watch those to brush up on my Corrie history but they were discontinued as well. Like many others, I "cheat" by reading the UK updates! Can't wait to see Tracy murder Charlie!
Hi Fans!
TvTorrents.com has a lot of Epps from October 2006!
It i BitTorrent, CBC in canada just this week caught up with October on the show, and it's June here now!
My wife and I are getting bleary eyed watching Hours of the street at a time!
Please if you torrent! Try to keep seeding as long as possible!

I'm a different Elizabeth - I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I started watching Corrie when I was 4 years old, with my British grandmother. Practically the start of the series - black and white, Mrs. Sharples, the lot. But having read everyone's comments, and focussing on the Canadian ones, there is something SERIOUSLY wrong here. I was under the impression that the CBC showed the same shows to everyone across Canada - apparently not-Mike dying, Matt Ramsden making a run for Joshua - ages ago. On our CBC station last night -Maria bribed David Platt not to let on he knew about her and Charlie having it off (where is her brain-honestly-the guy is Creepo #1). Norris and Rita are just setting off for their trip to Hungary. Fiz got her Learner's Permit by testing on her scooter and almost taking Blanche out yet again! Some of the comments show how far behind other parts of Canada are. How can that be - it's one of three NATIONAL broadcasting systems. Weird. And I wholeheartedly agree that the CBC needs their heads read - the Street has been pre-empted in the last three months for NHL hockey and FIFA Under 20 soccer. I like sports too - but c'mon - who watches you ALL year long CBC? I do cheat and watch ahead as my friend Patricia in Waterlooville, Hampshire won't tell me answers to questions I ask like - Fred looks pretty ashen, I think he's under a lot of stress - do he and Bev get married? Her answer - can't remember!
Am a keen follower of Corrie Street, we in NZ are almost 12 months behind, occasionally my daughter sends us tapes from the UK to whet our appetites, best show on TVNZ closely followed by other British shows
Hi. I didn't catch last weeks episodes as there was a recording malfunction... does anyone know how to find a copy of Corrie from the week of July 22, 2007??? I'm in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Perhaps a website that can fill me in on what happened last week?? I'm going through withdrawal and I need answers!!! Thanks.
Well I just moved to Toronto from Newfoundland.
Heres a bit of history for you.My Mother grew up on Cornation Street in St. John's Newfoundland.
I have pics of my Grandmother-Father-Mother and they have a pic with the charcter Ken Barlow and his wife( not Dedrie).I'm a young man but I have fond memories watching the Street with my parents(my Dad is fron England by the way)
I love the Street and I have those memories of watching it with mom and dad.
Here's a Corrie cheer to a great show!!!!!!!!
Canadian corrie fan here !
WE WATCH ON CBC FROM OGDENSBURG NEW YORK.
Hi,
I just got back from PEI and I have a lot of family that watch Coronation Street. I want to start watching too but can't seem to find out if it's available her in the US. Does anyone know if it's available here?
Renee
You can download all the episodes of Coronation Street UK on www.thebox.bz ..They even have classic corrie episodes that are worth a look!
Enjoy!!
Have jsut moved to El Salvador and am desperate to watch coronation Street. Eloi, it says on your site, we're full and now accepting newcomers by invitation only, so can you vouch for me please?!!
Hey you can always download corrie around 2 days old as a torrent file from uknova.com. I live in Thailand and have this morning downloaded and watched Corrie episode 26th Sept 2007. It's free to join the website and download.

I LOVE Corrie! My parents started watching it in Belleville, MI, on CBC Windsor quite a few years ago. I got hooked a couple of years ago and now live in Monroe, MI, and also watch on CBC. I wish the US would start airing the show, I am sick of explaining what "The Street" is. Maybe all of the Michiganders that watch the show should meet sometime to compare notes.
Hi All - after watching Corrie religiously from the early 1970s, missed it lots when we moved to Perth, Western Australia... BUT the good news is we have been enjoying the latest episodes (and lots of classic clips!) at http://www.corrietube.co.uk
Highly recommended to all Corrie fans!
Yeah, were about 8.5 months behind from the UK! I keep up with the UK by reading message boards, and watching what I can on youtube. I wish we could just broadcast the latest episodes here, and then on other days run repeats on other days, that way no loses out. Right now Tracey has killed Charlie, and has her first court appearance. I didn't start watching Corrie until 2004, when I was 14. I think that is when it just started on prime time though. I first started watching when the whole Sarah/Todd thing went down. Seriously, I want to move to the UK so I can watch all the lastest episodes when they actually air( and to watch EastEnders too).
Hi, I am lost. I was googling to find out where I could download Coronation Street torrents and I was sent to this website.
Fantastic website and glad I found it but I do not see where I can download the torrents. Can someone help please?
Thanks
Hi - try this link (to a very kind and altruistic Corrie fan who has been offering Corrie torrents for a while - thank you!):
http://www.demonoid.com/files/?uid=1832578
UK Nova is also a good place to access Corrie torrents too, although their membership is often full BUT worth checking back because they regularly seem to open to new registrations... Their URL is:
www.uknova.com
Corrietube is also good - although they have just started charging for access - so you could access the latest Corrie files on YouTube instead... Search looking for Coronation Street and the transmission date you are looking for (lots of classic Corie clips too!)...
Good Luck!

Instead, you can also access the latest Corrie at youtube.com - simply search for Coronation Street and the transmission date you want... Lots of wonderful classic clips too...
Hope that is helpful - have spent a while searching myself and have been enjoying the latest Corrie for a while now...
Good luck and happy Weatherfield viewing!!!

Sorry for triple posting!!! WHOOPS! But, even with my technical ineptitude, have still managed to enjoy the latest Corrie from the other side of the world! So worth perservering...
Thanks for the info. I think I have it figured out, it is because I am in Canada and there is a block on the torrents and even some websites. Went to YouTube and saw some but have not figured out how to put the correct date in.
It is a shame as I will be taking this PC to Brazil where Coronation Street is not seen and wanted to watch on the web. Maybe it is my provider thaat is letting the web sites know that I am in Canada and not the IP Address. hummmm
Is Corrietube coming back? Does anyone know? Someone posted on the 18th that they were now charging money...but they closed on the 15th? So how are they charging money past that day? Unless its still open to members only or something? I got an e mail on the 15th saying they were having bandwith problems, but were going to get a new one and charge members 4 dollars a month or something...but its been closed since? So are they coming back when they get a new host/bandwith?
I've a Corrietube question as well--is anyone outside of the UK able to access it any more (I'm in Canada)? I haven't been able to since the 15th (and didn't get this e-mail about charging a fee although I did sign up as a member), but my friend in England said she's been able to get on although she's not bothering with it because she doesn't want to pay. Is this the problem by any chance? It's a shame if it is, and I'm jumping to conclusions, but I'm just curious whether it's a possibility because I know some websites don't allow you access based on where you're located.
I am in Edmonton and I download the most recent episodes from either www.uknova.com or www.thebox.bz - both excellent choices for Corrie as well as other british shows
Thats weird about your friend(Elfie) in the UK who can watch them, because on forums I've read UK fans are having trouble too. I wish they would just say what the problem is so people don't have to wonder. We got like a months worth of new eps, and then suddenly got it take away, so I can see why were all angsty about it, we were spoiled and then went straight to nothing, lol. At least in Canada they actually air Corrie( It would suck to be in the US or elsewhere who does not have it). I'll try those sites you suggested, but I've always had trouble with torrents. We do have lots of good stuff to look forward to in Canada though, 2007 is just the beginning for us here, and it was a really good year for Corrie!
Hi All - looks like Corrietube is back!
And forgot to mention ww.thebox.bz - great for the latest Corrie and they have some classic episodes to share too...
x
I live near Ontario and I have rapidshare links for Coronation Street and Eastenders emailed to me every week - totally free!. This means I can watch the latest episodes a few days after they are aired in the UK. You can get more info from qualitysoaps.blogspot.com
Hi all,
Why mess about with torrent sites? Do what we do and just go to qualitysoaps.blogspot.com and have the latest episodes of Corrie and Eastenders a few days after they are aired in the UK - totally free!
Thanks! Yet another option - great! It looks like us global Corrie fans now have a variety of options - personally I prefer to download and seed the torrent, whether from uknova.com or thebiz.bz, and then watch it on my dvd player BUT the possibilities are endless...
Torrents are ok if you are IT savvy and don't mind jumping through all the hoops of a torrent site (upload/download ratios, registration etc) but most people don't want to know about seeds, torrents and trackers etc. That's the beauty of the system at qualitysoaps.blogspot.com, anyone can take advantage of it at any time. Cheers.
OOps!! Looks like Youtube has been stifled. Can't get up to date Corrie episodes any more. Rattts!!
Hi All - looks like another site is now offering the latest Corrie torrents and is open to new registration: fr333dom.com
x
I am gutted i watch corry all the time i have it on my v+ box but new years eve my tv provider went down for guess how long exactly 1 hour the total corrie time anyone know where i can get a copy would really appreciate it oh UK lol
