Deirdre and the Harmonica

Deirdre_real_funny_faceHarmonica I've been meaning to post this to Corrieblog for a couple of weeks after hearing Deirdre say in the Rovers Return: "I'll be getting me harmonica out, if you're not careful".  Now then, Deirdre did actually play (or mimed playing) the harmonica on Coronation Street at least once in the past - but I'm jiggered if I can remember when, or why?  If this rings any bells with you, do let us know if you remember Deirdre and the mouth organ.  I know I didn't imagine it, because someone else saw it too.

    Didn't she play the harmonica last year a few episodes before she got married. (I know I've seen her) I remember Ken and Deirdre talking and Deirdre saying her mother had never been proud of her, not even when she had been in the school play playing the harmonica. Then later on in the show we saw her in the backyard playing.

    I'm sure i saw her bring it out at possibly Sunita's hen do, she was definitely drunk when she did it.

    Deirdre really play the harmonica at Dev & Sunita's engagement party at the Rover's. Sean emptied his pockets, as I recall, looking for a pen to write something down and one of the things in his pocket was an harmonica. Deirdre grabbed it and started to play.

    Deidre did play the harmonica in the August bank holiday double episode in 2004. The episode also saw Sean arriving in the street for the first time and Todd introducing him to Eileen. It was 2 good episodes and a bit surreal, especially when Dreary started to play that harmonica!
