The last few episodes of Coronation Street have seen a subtle developing friendship between Amber and Norris, which has been interesting to watch. I’d love to see these two form a strong bond, perhaps Amber could be the child Norris never had? And Norris could be a better substitute dad than Dev could ever be? The way the two of them gossip like a couple of old women to each other shows promise of a valuable friendship. Norris and Amber are already two of my favourite Corrie characters so I’m all for them getting close and being friends. Are you?

I think they get along because Amber feels neglected and probably Norris was neglected as a child...so they gossip together. People who gossip don't have self esteem...
... we've not seen much of Amber this side of the pond ... but in the past, I have enjoyed storylines involving characters from different generations/life journies getting together ... Emily and Adam for instance [remember the scene at Mike's birthday party when she sang 'When I grow too old to Dream'to Adam? ... it was a song that her mother used to sing to her ... very poignant] ... and I think the storyline coming down the pike with Ken taking David under his wing might have potential an' all.

I like the idea. Recentley my rat died and the only source of comfort i could get was watching Norris Cole on Coronation Street. God bless them both.
