Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brian) and Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) are going to get married in Coronation Street this summer....or are they? The Mirror reckons that Corrie bosses have filmed two endings to the wedding storyline to keep viewers guessing whether the couple will get married or not. The paper says that in the first wedding filmed, Sarah gets jilted by Jason just before they are due to tie the knot. In the second they marry and enjoy a tender kiss. A Coronation Street source said: "We only do this when the situation is big enough and we don't want people knowing what happens. A final decision will be made days before transmission."

Treat any story about double/triple/multiple endings being filmed with a bag of salt - it's all rubbish. Granada/ITV don't have the budget for such luxuries. They are always tabloid invention.
