Confused Keith is befuddled with finding a new place to live in. “Trust no-one and check everything” says Dev but it’s too much stress for Keith to cope with and he collapses with chest pains on the cobbles. (Where were Weatherfield’s only first aiders – Roy and Hayley - when they were needed?!)
Shelley’s sick of everyone talking about her in the Rovers. She tells Betty she’s looking for another job and tells the Brewery she’s not bothered where she goes: “East, West, North, South”, so that’s all the bases covered then.
David lies to Gail and the Headmaster, saying he’s being bullied and that’s why he hasn’t been to school. Gail’s taken in by the lies but the Headmaster isn’t. Gail lays down the law and says David can stay off school for the rest of the term, which was the best result possible young master Pratt.
And Amber gets A Grades on her school report which puts a smile on Dev’s face in the corner shop.
