Charlie the Builder Gets Weird with Maria

Oh no! It looks like bully builder Charlie Stubbs is going to start manipulating and manhandling Corrie crimper Maria in a summer storyline on Coronation Street. The Mirror says that Charlie (Bill Ward) makes a play for Maria (Samia Smith) after she splits up with her new bloke needs somewhere to live. He offers her his empty flat, then sabotages the tap so it bursts and he has to go round and fix it. While Maria’s out, Charlie goes through Maria’s things and strokes her clothes (weirdo alert!) and then turns up to find her in a wet T-shirt. A Corrie source told the paper: "He tells her, 'You're the sexiest woman I've ever met. If I don't have you here and now I'll explode and I think you will as well'." Well, they do make love and Maria’s besotted. Then she can't pay the rent and Charlie has her completely in his clutches. The source added: "She falls totally under his spell. This will be a terrifying storyline. It will instantly make Charlie the most hated man on telly." As if he isn’t already!
