Four Corrie stars are facing the chop by new producer Steve Frost (yes that’s really him in the picture!) The Manchester Evening News says that the ones going are Ray Fearon, who plays mechanic Nathan Harding, Susie Blake, who plays barmaid Bev Unwin, Emma Stansfield, who plays Steve McDonald's girlfriend Ronnie Clayton, and Eric Potts the baker Diggory Compton. Producer Steve also plans further departures. "There will be a couple of other biggish names later in the year."
Will you miss any of these four characters? I'll miss Bev and Ronnie.

What a young guy to be a producer! Wish he would rethink his strategies here because once a character is gone, they are gone. I adore Bev and really enjoy her performances, especially when it comes to getting her men. O well.
My word, how did a 12 year old end up producing the best loved drama series in the UK? I hope he's got capable hands or else we'll be after his blood! Is it any coincidence that Corrie gets a new producer and 2 of the best writers announce that they're leaving? (Daran Litte and John Stevenson, as reported on your blog weeks ago).
